Bob has been teaching French since 1986 and has been with the Fairview School District since 1996. He began working in Speech & Debate in 1988 simply because two students asked if he'd be willing to learn how to judge. He continued judging when he started at Fairview. Later he became an interim coach while the regular coach was on maternity leave, then Assistant Coach and finally Co-Head Coach, the position he still holds today. He became a member of the PHSSL District One tournament committee in 2004 and has been District One Co-Chair since 2010.
